Lon Dryll Outdoors Booking Terms & Conditions

The person who makes the booking agrees to take full responsibility for ensuring that all members of the party follow the Terms and Conditions set out below:

  1. The number of people occupying Lon Dryll Outdoors is limited to that stated on the booking form and the named persons on the fire plan, unless by prior consent with the Owner. This also applies to vans, there is to be no van camping in the carpark unless prior consent is given from the Lon Dryll Outdoors.

  2. A deposit is due on booking (£150 for weekend bookings/£200 for week bookingds), with the balance payable 28 days before your booking date. If a booking is made less than 28 days before the start of the booking date, the full balance is required to secure the booking. Failure to pay the balance 28 days before your arrival will result in Lon Dryll Outdoors making the accommodation available for another group. The person booking is responsible for making sure the booking is paid we will not send out reminders to pay the balance.

  3. Please notify Lon Dryll Outdoors of any booking cancellation in writing. If a notice of cancellation is received between the dates of your deposit being received and the final payment being due then the deposit will be retained unless the Property can be re-let. If cancellation is made within four weeks of the holiday start (i.e. the whole rent has been paid) then the whole amount paid will be retained unless Lon Dryll Outdoors can be re-let. If a re-let is successful then a full refund will be made, less an administration fee of £25. If the Property cannot be re-let then no refund will be given.

  4. To safeguard against cancellation charges & other unforeseen eventualities we strongly recommend Cancellation Insurance.

  5. In the event of unforeseen circumstances defined as circumstances beyond the control of either Party, such as any Act of God, fire, flood, meteorological perturbation, explosion, war, act of terrorism, riots, civil commotion, revolution, blockade, embargo, strike, government action, official or regulatory intervention, Lon Dryll Outdoors shall be entitled to suspend this Contract until such time when the circumstance have resolved. Any person’s booking confirmed for the event on a date within the period of unforeseen circumstance may be cancelled by Lon Dryll Outdoors by written notice. Both Lon Dryll Outdoors and the person booking shall nevertheless use their reasonable endeavours to alleviate the effects of such circumstances including agreeing upon alternative arrangements. We strongly suggest comprehensive holiday insurance is taken out by all bookings.

  6. Should Lon Dryll Outdoors , subsequent to booking, become unavailable through any cause, you must accept that Lon Dryll Outdoors liability is limited to the amount of any rent paid.

  7. You accept that the responsibility for personal property of guests occupying the accommodation is solely theirs. All vehicles are also left at the guest’s risk and this includes equipment such as kayaks and bikes left in or on cars. Guests agree to absolve Lon Dryll Outdoors of any responsibility for any accident or mishap to persons or property whilst on the premises or whilst engaged in any activity therein, or from any illness or injury arising from any causes whatsoever.

  8. You agree to use the Property solely for its intended purpose as self-catering accommodation and to accept Lon Dryll Outdoors right to refuse to hand over the Property to any person deemed unsuitable to take charge. Causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighbours or other guests, unreasonable behaviour or disrupting the running of the business may result in Lon Dryll Outdoors requesting you to leave.

  9. You agree to allow Lon Dryll Outddors access to the Property at all reasonable times. We will only ever request access to the property in case of an emergency, e.g. a water leak, electricity blackout etc or to make reasonable adjustments to the property for example adjusting the boiler settings or allowing deliveries of gas or collections of waste.

  10. You must vacate Lon Dryll Outdoors by 11am at the latest on your day of departure unless special arrangements have been made with the Owner. This is to allow us to prepare the Property for the next guests.

  11. Guest arrival time is from 5pm onwards unless prior agreement with the owner, if you are booking Tesco delivery please book a slot for after your arrival, we cannot bring shopping in for you.

  12. The use of your own personal electrical equipment is out of our control from a Fire Assessment Regulation perspective, and must therefore be at your own personal risk, absolutely no plug in radiators or storage heaters may be used.

  13. Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under eighteen years of age.

  14. Lon Dryll Outdoors reserve the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.

  15. It is the guests duty to ensure that the property is left clean on departure i.e. strip beds into the laundry bags provided, please empty bins, clean dirty dishes. Lon Dryll Outdoors reserves the right to make a charge to cover additional cleaning costs if the client leaves the property in an unacceptable condition.

  16. Pets on furniture and beds or smoking anywhere on the premises will result in immediate termination of occupancy and forfeiture of all payments. This must be strictly adhered to and any damage or extra cleaning caused by pets or smoking will be at your expense.

  17. Damage to property – Please treat the facilities & accommodation with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. In the event that you notice damage in the accommodation please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. If there have been any breakages during your stay, we would be grateful if you could advise us before you leave. The accommodation will be inspected at the end of the stay & you may be charged for any loss or damage found.

  18. Please remember to lock the doors and close the windows when you leave the property unoccupied.

  19. Please note that in the event that any keys issued are not returned at the end of your stay, then the cost of replacement will be charged to you.

  20. The guest may in no circumstance re-let or sublet the property, even free of charge.

  21. The internet connection is available (at no extra cost) subject to technical availability. Please note that while we do our best to provide excellent internet service and 4G is widely available this is a mountainous location and the weather can be extreme which in turn may affect the internet connection at times.

  22. Lon Dryll Outdoors shall not be liable for any temporary defect or malfunction of any equipment, machinery or appliance in the building or grounds.

  23. Children under 18 must be always supervised by their parents/guardians.

  24. We reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking (or their guests) may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of others.

  25. We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments or additions to these terms and conditions without notice.

  26. Lon Dryll Outdoors is a family run business and we live next door. We expect all guests to enjoy the facilities and treat the property with the same respect that they would with their own house. Please respect the neighbours and swith off music and keep noise to a minimum after 11pm.

  27. Well behaved dogs are very welcome, dogs must be house trained and not sleep on beds or sofa’s. Any dog mess should be picked up and binned immediately. We are surrounded by fields with sheep and cows which, occasionally stray onto the lane and grounds. If you are in any doubt about your dog chasing livestock or retaining control over your dog then they must be on a lead at all times. Any damage to livestock will be your responsibility and we will hand your details over to the farmer.

  28. No fireworks or Chinese lanterns are to be released from Lon Dryll Outdoors at any time or for any reason.

  29. The access lane is narrow and bumpy in places please respect the speed limit of 5 mph there are often children playing and animals roaming. Lon Dryll Outdoors accepts no responsibility for any damage to your vehicle accessing the property. On occasion other vehicles such as the postman may use the car park to turn their vehicles around during your stay.

  30. Access to the tree house is strictly prohibited and guests may not pass the marked boundary. Lon Dryll Outdoors accept no responsibility for any incidents occurring should any person ignore the signs in situ or these terms and conditions.
